I remember (Alicia here) for many years thinking I was doing so many good things in my life, but whenever I would think about the unknown future or an emergency that "could" happen to our family, I felt this sinking feeling, this guilty feeling.

We weren't really following our Prophet....

and the other leaders of church that had invited us to prepare food and water for a time of need.

I had been focusing a lot on other things - other important things - things like my marriage, my health, getting pregnant, etc. Those were important priorities in my life, and, with how overwhelming preparedness felt at the time, I didn't think I could add ONE MORE thing to my already overflowing plate.

Like you already have a full enough plate and couldn't possibly think of adding one more thing?

Life felt SO overwhelming for me and I didn't know where to start with preparedness.

So I avoided it for YEARS.

Until 2020 hit...

Lol. We all know 2020 was a rough year for many.

I was pregnant with my first son, overwhelmed, and felt SO much regret I hadn't taken the counsel earlier from our leaders more seriously.

So instead of peacefully preparing, I (passively) decided to go extreme.

VERY extreme.

I had to make up for lost time!! (or so I thought)

I couldn't have been more wrong.

That is not the point or the way the Lord wants us to prepare.

He doesn't want us to prepare out of a need to control or soothe our anxiety.

He wants us to prepare to bless our families - bring more PEACE, comfort, joy, and rest into our home.

We've all heard the scripture many times "if ye are prepared, ye shall not fear". So why in an industry that is supposed to help bring peace, ends up more often than not - creating so much overwhelm and more fear!

We are determined to put an end for this once and for all!

During that same time in 2020 and 2021, I found out that Jessica and Alexis (two friends living on my street) had also been feeling inclined to prepare around this time. And we were all doing it a little differently. We all definitely had our own fear as we were brand new to it all, but by truly a miracle from God, we started a little neighborhood group to start to prepare together.

It changed EVERYTHING preparing together. Everything.

We could see realtime what others were doing, leverage others' strengths and realize we actually didn't have to do it alone - we had someone literally down the road who could help us when we were stuck. We had other women just like us who had different strengths, perspectives, and levels of preparation that could help us!

And we could help the other women with our unique strengths as well! We were also able to identify our extreme thinking and patterns more clearly and easily around other faith filled women. It's surprising how easy it is to fall into extreme thinking and overwhelm when you prepare alone.

Jessica, Alexis, and I were the most consistent in our little neighborhood group and I knew we needed to somehow help others with the aspects of this special group that had blessed our lives so much.

Not only had it made preparing fun - we were taking steps every few weeks to prepare, I was making close, deep relationships with women I never would have known, and felt more peace because I knew I didn't have to figure out the next steps alone!!

I didn't think preparedness could feel this good!

Our Lighthouse Membership has actually been in the works for YEARS.

Jessica, Alexis, and I knew we wanted to somehow recreate the LIGHT we had felt in our small part of Salt Lake County during such a dark time and replicate it all around the world!

And as we've worked to help hundreds and thousands of women prepare, we've wrestled with exactly how to do this...until now.

Every step has truly been led by a loving Heavenly Father who we know is invested in YOUR success, peace, and confidence in the future ahead that we are all facing.

It is a crazy time in the history of our world, and more than ever, we believe we are being called on to each be leaders to bring more peace during all the uncertainty and fear around us.

WE KNOW THE LORD WANTS YOU TO LEAD FOR HIM AS WELL!

We have found people either avoid preparing because they don't want to be labeled as "extreme" or as a "prepper" - NEITHER do we!!

OR they end up going extreme - because there is truly so much you could do once you start to get a handle of preparedness - that mentality is quite easy to fall into!

OR they end up starting to prepare a little but then stop because they get so overwhelmed!

And of course baby steps you can take to improve your financial health ONE step at a time!! We each have a unique way of approaching money and want to help you have better stewardship over what you have and to create more wealth in the process!

We're no longer going to let you do it alone!!!

We've actually stopped selling all of our other products because buying one of them meant that you had to then execute on those new learnings on your own.

Information doesn't actually lead to change.

Accountability, group momentum, and being inspired by others' examples and change does though!!

As much as we want preparedness to be a checkmark we can do once and mark as "done" forever, that's not the reality.

This is why a "pattern of preparedness" (as we like to call it) is SO crucial. If you can't truly develop a peaceful pattern of preparedness in your life, you will either constantly feel behind, overcompensate out of a place of lack, or be myopically focused on preparing the "wrong" things - that don't actually help decrease your fear.

So...as part of the Lighthouse, you will have direct access to Alexis, Alicia, and Jessica as well as the entire Lighthouse community - to share what is working, what isn't, struggles, success, you name it!!

When we ran a prior version of this program, the support amongst members was one of the best parts!!
